Frosty Fest & Holiday Pop-Ups

WHEATON, IL – NOVEMBER 18, 2022 – Frosty and Santa are ditching the North Pole and heading to Town Square Wheaton for a series of holiday events, entertainment, pop-ups and a focus on the vibrant small businesses that breathe life into the community. 

FROSTY FEST + JOLLY TROLLEY 

On Saturday, December 3 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., Town Square Wheaton will be transformed into a winter wonderland with the annual Frosty Fest! The event will feature special appearances by Santa, Mrs. Claus, Buddy the Elf and Olaf. 

Throughout the afternoon, family fun abounds with a magician, holiday craft making with Wheaton’s Public Library, holiday performances by the Rising Stars and specialty holiday drinks from Ferdie’s Cabin Food Truck. No reservations required. 

• The programming schedule includes: 11am-2pm: Special Appearances by Mr. and Mrs. Clause as well as Buddy the Elf and Olaf 

• 11am-12pm Steve the Magician 

• 12am- 2pm: Holiday Craft making with Wheaton's Public Library 

• 12pm-1pm: Holiday performance by the Rising Stars 

• Ferdie's Cabin Food Truck will also be on site with special holiday drinks 

For one day only, the Downtown Wheaton Association and Town Square are partnering to bring the Jolly Trolley, a Christmas-themed trolley shuttling shoppers between Downtown Wheaton and Town Square. 

SMALL BUSINESS POP-UPS 

Town Square will also play host to a holiday-themed pop-up event throughout the season featuring jolly décor from local small business. Made by Hand; A Holiday Pop- Up opens Friday, November 25 and features locally crafted, hand-made gifts ranging in 

price from $5-$500.Shop greeting cards, wall art, candles, jewelry, clothing, pottery, watercolor art, soaps, and more. 

Open 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on select weekends including

• Fri 12/2 - Sun 12/4 

• Fri 12/9 - Sun 12/11 

• Fri 12/16 - Sun 12/18 

The Wheaton Winter Market @ Town Square Wheaton opens on December 3 through March 31 and brings a collection of small local businesses from the local farmers markets, who have come together to offer their unique products through the off-season. Stop by for great finds: Wailea Beverage - water kefir, a fermented, probiotic beverage, Tall Tail Premium Cocktail Mixers - a juice based, no sugar added mixer, Badge Brew Coffee - handcrafted coffee, Loscavo Olive Oil - olive oil and various imported Italian sauces and pastry, Grandpa Franks Candy - small batch candy caramels, and High Rollers - rolled ice cream, crepes, cotton candy. Open Tues- Sat 10am-6pm, Sun 12pm-5pm. 

SMALL BUSINESS Approaching holiday shopping with an intention to support small business owners can have a massive impact on the local economy. Plus, it will mean you get access to the unique, tailored offerings that small businesses boast. Town Square Wheaton is proud that more half of the shopping center’s tenants are small businesses including PS Flowers, Stonehouse Market, The Perfect Thing, Prairie Path Books, Meredith Jaye, Altobello, Elements Massage, Blue Willow Mercantile, Warren’s, and HotWorx. 

Throughout the holiday season and on Small Business Saturday, expect special offers and discounts at small businesses throughout Town Square Wheaton.
